External Adjustment Kit

Easily adjust the drop speed of your Meyer E-60 unit!

If your truck is equipped with a Meyer E-60 unit
and the blade floats like a feather or drops like a rock when you are lowering your plow,
then you need this new external adjustment kit from Plow Pump Service.

Over time the factory adjustment screw in the Meyer E-60 unit turns by itself,
increasing or decreasing your drop speed without you knowing.
You could adjust it one week and the next week it could be back to the way it was.

Or if you are tired of the lower adjustment procedure...

With this new adjustment kit you can adjust the drop speed externally
and then lock it down so it won't change again, saving you time
and also not waking your customers when the blade hits the ground so fast it breaks ice.

Installation is easy.

Lower plow to ground and push lift ram all the way down. TURN PLOW SWITCH OR IGNITION SWITCH OFF. On the front of the E-60 unit there are two 11/16" plugs. Remove the plug that is closest to the valve body. With a 3/16" allen wrench remove the factory adjustment screw (some hydraulic oil will leak out). Install the new external adjustment kit, tightening the 5/8" hex. Turn the adjustment screw all the way in (clockwise) until it bottoms out. Back the screw out (counter clockwise) about a 1/4 turn and try lowering plow. If more adjustment is needed turn screw in to decrease speed, out to increase speed. Once speed is acceptable tighten jam nut down to lock adjustment.
